Biography

Rachael Forsyth and Helen Sanderson-White met while studying Music at Middlesex University in 2002.  Since then they have worked together on a variety of projects and performances as well as solo projects. 

Their first collaboration was in 2005 when Rachael performed on Helen's second solo album 'Fallen But Not Fatal' which was released in November 2006.  This lead to many live performances for the duo including 'The White Horse' Brixton, 'The Original Vibe' Epsom,'Goring Unplugged' Oxon as well as many private functions. 

Since this date they have worked together as session musicians for various projects, including recordings in aid of charities. One major highlight was when they won a public vote to appear on the BBC Three Counties to perform a selection of their tracks live for the weekly music show. In early 2009 they officially formed The Orange Garden duo and are currently performing around the country under this name. This new formed alliance has led them to compose together and they are currently planning an EP for release in early 2010.


Rachael Forsyth

Rachael Forsyth is a saxophonist and woodwind player based in North London. She plays all styles of music and loves playing different styles and standards. As an experienced session musician and orchestral pit worker, Rachael has worked in many areas of music and has a deep love of jazz and ska. As a passionate teacher Rachael enjoys also passing on the skills to others so that they too can enjoy. She gigs regularly around London and the UK on either saxophone, flute or clarinet.

Helen Sanderson-White

Helen Sanderson-White is a singer, pianist, and composer based in Buckinghamshire. She writes and performs all styles of music but is most comfortable writing in the light jazz/pop style. Helen is also involved in session work and has sung on a wide variety of material including dance, pop, classical and church music projects. Her July 2010 single "Hallelujah" reached number 6 in the UK NCM chart and number 11 in the Euro NCM chart.
